ORGANIZATION OF SPECIALIZED MEDICAL CARE FOR THE CHILDREN OF IVANOVO REGION
Abstract
A three-level system to provide medical care to children has been formed in Ivanovo region. The first level is composed by central regional hospitals, the second level is formed by interregional district centers, the third level is composed by Oblast Ivanovo Regional Clinical Hospital and the Regional Children’s Clinical Hospital. Such structural subdivisions for the most significant nosologies have been formed as the School of Diabetes and the Department of Diagnostics of Newborn Retinopathy on the basis of the Municipal Educational Institution of Ivanovo Regional Clinical Hospital. The alignment of the three-level system of medical care and the creation of highly specialized structural units make it possible to increase the availability of medical care and the quality of treatment.
