S.F. TUZEMSKY IS THE OUTSTANDING DOCTOR AND HUMANIST, FAMILY DOCTOR OF P.I. TCHAIKOVSKY
Abstract
Sylvester Fedorovich Tuchemsky entered the history of domestic medicine as a skilled surgeon and highly educated scientist of high moral and ethical qualities, he treated the members of Tchaikovsky family. Almost all business activities of Sylvester Fedorovich Tuchemsky were linked with the Votkinsk plant. For more than 40 years he headed healthcare in Votkinsk. Entirely devoted to his work, Sylvester Fedorovich Tuchemsky had a significant impact on the development of the best humanistic traditions of domestic medicine. Talent of S. F. Tuchemsky was manifested in the ability to love and appreciate people regardless of their social status. The doctor won enormous prestige among the population of the Vyatka region and the neighboring provinces because of his deep scientific knowledge and warm attitude to patients.
